Quite Simply French is renowned for changing their menus every day in tune with the seasons. This means they have to print menus every day, which sometimes lead to brand inconsistency. They asked us to find a solution.
Our first step was to work on the brand strategy and look at how we could develop the brand. This resulted in a brand refresh and a new website design and build, with enhanced functionality that enabled them to print their daily menus online.
Our Creative Director, Lynda, felt straight away that we need to create a strong portfolio of photography to visually show the QSF story and the journey of produce to plate. After extensive research, Lynda selected commercial and advertising photographer, Sam Docker, who works across the UK and Europe for a variety of brands and business sectors. The QSF kitchen cooked up a storm, as Lynda art directed Sam on a long one day shoot with her husband, Stu (our copywriter) in tow to look after their 7 week old baby, Frankie.
The new photography told the story of farm to fork in their new website and was consistently applied across menus, brochures and across social media and email.
