Our local chippy asked us to help them with a branding refresh that would honour their heritage of 8 decades but communicate a modern and fresh appeal.
Sustainably sourced, passionately made, healthy, comforting and deliciously tasty, we all agreed that great fish and chips make great memories, that people talk about time and time again
The simplistic, fish line drawing elements and pale blue palette updated this much-loved chippy, bringing it into the 21st century. It was a creative way to recapture attention and make the takeaway food more graphically appealing. We completely revamped traditional packaging and signage giving it a traditional-contemporary quality. These new designs, although simple, reflect the notion that “everybody loves fish and chips”.
Lovingly made - deliciously tasty. The village of Bolton-le-Sands has been associated with fishing as far back as the 13th century. Packet Bridge Fish and Chips is not quite that old, opening its doors in 1925 and today is nothing less than an institution, familiar to locals, and a very popular stopping place for visitors. With our young owners, Cihan and Jennifer Oktem at the helm since 2008, we’ve gained a reputation for true freshness. For example our Cod & Haddock is fished in the ice cold waters of the Barents Sea in Norway, where the stocks are really healthy, growing in numbers and certified sustainable. It’s frozen within 3 hours of being caught; it doesn’t get much fresher than that.
